3 - Patching inconsistencies

I am continuing the final proofread of the second Mages' Guild book this week. I had some more rewriting to do to patch up the inconsistencies with the first book, but hopefully I'm almost done with that, next week should see one more tiny rewrite and then this should be done.
Proofreading is a really boring part of writing, but it's incredibly important. I am constantly refining my process, too. I am using Scrivener to write (more on that here) but to proofread, I'm using a combination of Microsoft Word and Scrivener, since Word catches a few pesky typos that I might have missed. In general, I've found that if you've written the book yourself, it's more difficult to proofread it, since you know the text intimately and can't really see it with fresh eyes. I hope that I'll be able to hire a professional for my next book.
Additionally, this week I realized that I haven't written a horror story in a while. I used to read horror all the time, especially cosmic horror. I love both King and Lovecraft. I don't know if I will end up writing it any time soon, but I've jotted down some notes on a short one-shot LitRPG horror story. If this sounds like something you'd like to read, drop me an email! I won't include it in the summary below, as I have plenty more stories at this stage of pre-pre-prewriting/brainstorming and can't include all of them. The stories below are those that I definitely plan to write.
So, once more, here's a summary, with just one significant change from last week:
Mages' Guild book 2: in final proofread, about 15% in. (updated)
Bright Fantasy LitRPG one-off (working title): outline finished, next to be written. I'm looking forward to this one.
Mages' Guild book 3: working on its outline, organizing my ideas for now.
Monolith LitRPG series or one-off (working title): not so actively working on its outline.
Fantasy Sci-Fi LitRPG series (working title): not so actively doing pre-outline work, though this is one of my favorites from this list.
Dark Fantasy one-off (non-LitRPG, working title): at the pre-outline stage, in the back burner.
Dark Fantasy LitRPG series (working title): doing some basic sketching of the story at the pre-outline stage and connecting with other related stories.
