15 - New book is out, and more to come!

This week, I finally got the second Mages' Guild book, Pathways of Light and Stone, released! This took tremendous effort from myself and my two editors, my wife Irene, and my friend Menelaos. They've both poured over the text twice, the original first draft and the second draft, pointing out its many issues. The book you have today would be a much lesser version if it weren't for their help. I hope you all like it! You can find more details on one of my first blog posts. The book ended up being about 133,000 words, which is just under double my first book!
But I have many more stories I want to tell! Next week, I shall be beginning work on the Bright Fantasy LitRPG one-off story, or Bright Fantasy Working Title (don't worry, it won't be titled Bright Fantasy, it's just a working title!). I have written the outline for this, both Irene and Menelaos have examined it along with the worldbuilding notes and character profiles, have given feedback, and have okayed the final version, so I hope this will be a smoother process than with Pathways. Even if it isn't, I'll be here for it, and I'll keep you all updated!
I aim for Bright Fantasy WT to be at least 75,000 words long (as long as the First Mage), but judging from the outline, it might easily reach the 100,000-word or even 130,000-word range. I'll be keeping you updated with weekly posts about my progress. Right now, I dedicate one day of the working week to my personal projects, so the updates you'll be seeing will be covering a day's worth of writing each, unless otherwise noted. If Pathways sells well, I might be able to dedicate more time to my personal projects, so here's hoping!
