2 - Elbow-deep in proofreading
This post should take about 2 minutes to read through.
I have started proofreading the (hopefully) final draft of the Mages' Guild book 2. There was some rewriting to be done in the beginning, along with studying the first book for inconsistencies, so I didn't make that much progress this week in terms of quantity.
I have jotted down some notes on the third book's story, some things that need to happen along with my basic ideas. The general shape of the story is forming in my mind.
I should note that I have a clear idea of the overall story I want to tell in the Mages' Guild books. I haven't yet decided how many books the story will span, but it will definitely end one day, and I know how it ends. My wife does as well, but I've kept most spoilers strictly in my head and my notes. The first arc will end with the third book.
Additionally, I have jotted down more notes about another book series that I plan to write after I finish the Mages' Guild books, for which I've done some worldbuilding work.
To summarize:
Mages' Guild book 2: in final proofread, about 8% in.
Bright Fantasy LitRPG one-off (working title): outline finished, next to be written.
Mages' Guild book 3: currently actively working on its outline, I've already started organizing my ideas. It should be the one I write after the Bright Fantasy LitRPG (working title) above.
Monolith LitRPG series or one-off (working title): currently not so actively working on its outline.
Fantasy Sci-Fi LitRPG series (working title): actively doing pre-outline work.
Dark Fantasy one-off (non-LitRPG, working title): not so actively doing pre-outline work.
Dark Fantasy LitRPG series (working title): in pre-outline stage, mostly worldbuilding.
